About
Stella Mason museums and heritage consultant

II have been working in the museum and heritage sector for over 30 years most recentlyat the Royal College of Surgeons of England, where I led the heritage team to improve and modernise the College's museums, special collections and grade ll* listed building. This culminated in a newly refurbished Hunterian Museum, which was shortlisted for the Gulbenkian Prize 2006.

While at the College I carried out consultancy work in the UK and USA and regularly employed freelance workers, so I understand consultancy from both sides - what the consultant needs from the client and what the client seeks to achieve.
